Hmm…I guess I can try to give you a bit more than that, right?
To be honest, I find these to be the hardest words to write…even after having written two books. Speaking of writing, it’s something that I’ve always found enjoyable, either as a hobby or sometimes, a necessary outlet. Then one day, I decided to write a story: one that I’d been thinking about for a while. A story based on my time living and working in New York City. A story that, I hope, will make people think, stir their emotions a bit, and perhaps most importantly, make them laugh. Then, another day, I decided to write a sequel, and so on and so forth.
The result: my first two novels, Chasing the Unicorn and Maximum Heat.
You see what I did there? I said my first two novels. If I’ve learned anything over the last 33 years (shh…don’t tell my accounting professors), it’s that if you finally find something that you enjoy, and it provides you back with some level of fulfillment, you’d be foolish to stop pursuing it.
I enjoy writing…and I don’t plan on stopping.
